Judgement Cleanse: A 21 Day Practice

Join me in this self paced 21 day practice where you'll get access to 21 days of video content that includes guided meditation practices, journaling prompts, and micro-teachings, as well as bonus video material and online resources. This course is designed to support you in noticing and shifting your relationship around judgement in order to create space for more love, joy, and authentic connection.

What you’ll get…

  • You’ll explore patterns around judgement, getting to know the cues and triggers and learning about your risk and protective factors around judgement.

  • You’ll set intentions and clarify what you want to create in place of being in judgement, exploring what you’re moving towards and creating space for as you transform patterns around judgement.

  • You’ll receive daily practices integrating mindfulness, self compassion, boundary setting, expressive arts, movement, journaling, somatic awareness, and self inquiry.

  • You’ll learn about the relationship between boundaries and judgement, build your capacity for compassion, use poetry and guided practice to open your heart and feel into more love.

  • You’ll develop anchors that allow you to focus on your practices throughout each day and each week as well as moving forward beyond the course.

  • You’ll deepen your awareness around your relationship with judgement and walk away with a renewed sense of empowerment around your ability to choose love and be in your heart in any given moment.

Meet your guide…

Laura Torres is an intuitive coach, psychotherapist, mother, partner, sacred space holder, circle facilitator, yoga teacher, sensitive soul, cat lover and wisdom seeker. Laura has been practicing therapy for over a decade and has years of experience and training with somatic and intuitive modalities. She was inspired to create this course through seeing the power over and over in 1-1 sessions of becoming aware of our judgement and then shifting into a place of compassion and curiosity. Even without changing anything else, this simple shift frees you up to move forward with whatever the issue is at hand. Laura lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina with her partner, 10 year old son, and two sweet cats.

What you’ll learn…

  • During week one we’ll be focusing on building awareness of patterns around judgement, learning about triggers and cues, exploring risk factors and protective factors around judgement, and clarifying and setting intentions for the course.

  • During week two you’ll be exploring and practicing shifting out of a space of judgement, focusing on what you want to feel/create instead, exploring boundaries and self compassion as supports for being more in your heart and less in judgement.

  • During this final week, you’ll be reflecting on what you’ve learned, getting the chance to continue practicing shifting out of judgement, and solidifying your take aways.

This 21 Day Practice is about noticing and getting curious about the different ways we judge and exploring when it’s helpful and when it’s not so helpful. So that we can make more conscious, intentional choices around our use of judgement. And in doing so we create more space for authentic connection and open-heartedness with ourselves and with others.

Course FAQ

  • This course was designed to be a 21 day practice AND your experience in this course will be unique and the perfect experience for you. So trust yourself if you need to skip days here and there and pick up where you left off. Life happens. You’ll still get a lot out of the course regardless of whether you do every day in a row. That said, think of this like doing a food detox. The more you can commit and stick to a daily practice, the more you’ll get out of it and really change some of those hard-wired habits around judgement!

  • This course was initially created as a live course so you may here in the recordings reference to live conversation, comments, etc. but this iteration of the course will be individual and self-paced. I may offer a version of this course at some point integrating some live Q&As. Reach out to me if this is something you’d be interested in!

  • The short answer is no. This course is individualized and self-paced. That said, if you’re someone who really likes to talk things out to integrate them, I encourage you to get some friends of yours to do it with you and set up a group text thread or video thread to share what you’re learning. I think learning in community is the best! I’m considering offering a version of this course with additional live Q&As and a cohort in the future. Let me know if this is something you’d be interested in!

  • I’d recommend setting a link to the course page on the homescreen of where-ever you’ll be watching these videos. In the introduction videos, I recommend you start to envision when and how you’ll integrate the course into your day-to-day which will include setting it up on your home screen, deciding when you’ll watch the videos, and grabbing a journal if you don’t already have one.

  • Ultimately, just yourself and a commitment to your practice! That said, having a journal with you when you watch the videos will be supportive. If you’re like me, you’ll also want a cozy place to sit, maybe a candle and some tea ;)
